Our expertise (got from the last 20 years of WHH operations in Rwanda) focuses mainly on irrigation projects, marshlands development, rural&agricultural development infrastructure, soil conservation, environment protection, climate change mitigation/resiliency/adaption, agricultural productivity increase, agricultural value chain development, farmers’ capacity building, nutrition, WASH, gender, Cash for Work (CFW), basic infrastructure (e.g. construction of schools, drinking water facilities, etc. ), etc.
Irrigation marshlands development, construction of rural/feeder roads, soil erosion control activities and several other rural development infrastructure & measures…every thing done solely by the local community under CFW (Cash For Work). Hence boosting local economy as poor rural families earn a wage from CFW & from improved farming.
